Thunder Run was bought privately before the 2025 main season in England and is trained by Karl Burke.
He had improved throughout his 3yo campaign for his previous owner, and has kept on as a 4yo, landing a big handicap in York on May 16.
Thunder Run is owned in a partnership with Mrs Lulu Tøpholm.

Thunder Run is a son of Darley’s 2000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder – one of the World’s leading sires.
He is the first foal out of the winning Sea The Stars mare Astonished, from the family of Group 1 winners Maids Causeway, Vallee Enchantee and Vespone.
