STORY

Warsox was purchased for €115,000 through agent Edgar Byrne at the 2023 Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.

He is currently in pre-training in Ireland and will head into training with Niels Petersen in Norway during the spring of 2024.

pedigree

Warsox is by First Season Sire Kameko (pictured), winner of the Vertem Futurity Stakes (G1) at 2 and the fastest ever winner of the 2000 Guineas Stakes (G1) at 3.

Warsox is out of the lightly raced Courteous Crown (Helmet), herself the dam of two winners from as many runners, including the highly promising Zoulu Chief.

Courteous Crown is a half-sister to American Stakes winner High Maintenance and to the dams of G2 winner Whispering Brook and Listed winner Stone Tornado.

NN (GB) also hails from the female line of Group 1 winning sires Green Tune and Pas De Reponse, as well as American sire A P Warrior.
